The vision
Raxio Data Centre is an enterprise-grade data centre coming soon to Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
The data centre, together with the new upcoming subsea cable landings and investments in terrestrial infrastructure, will drive appetite for data consumption and local content by all digital users. When it opens in 2024, Raxio Ivory Coast will be the first state-of-the-art, privately owned Tier III certified facility in the country and will operate as carrier-neutral and cloud-neutral with the ability to house around 400 racks at full capacity.

General Manager, Ivory Coast
Raphael is the General Manager of Raxio in its Ivory Coast subsidiary. He is in charge of the execution of the strategic plan, operational management, expansion of the group’s activities in the country. He has accumulated more than 20 years in the management of strategic units at AFRIPA Telecom, Côte d’Ivoire Telecom, Alink Telecom, Atlantic Group, PCCW Global, IHS and most recently VIPNET.

Patrice is the VP Technology and Operations of Raxio Ivory Coast and is responsible for all the operational activities. He has more than 18 years of experience in data centre management, system administration, and storage solutions. His previous roles include Datacenter & Cloud Director at DATABRIDGE and various senior positions at PAIX Data Centres and NSIA TECHNOLOGIES, showcasing a comprehensive background in data center management and IT operations.

Patrick is the Vice President Sales & Marketing of Raxio Ivory Coast with more than 20 years of experience in the telecom and tech sectors. He has a versatile background as a Service Engineer, Project Manager, and in various leadership positions. For the last seven years, he has been leading revenue growth strategies and management. He is in charge of driving sales and marketing strategy and execution for the West African Economic Monetary and Economic Union (WAEMU).
